When you sign up using Email, Apple Sign-In, or Google Sign-In, we may collect:

Your name
Your email address
Your profile photo (if provided)
Your account identifier from the authentication provider

Apple and Google do not share your password with us.

b. Habit & Challenge Data

To power features like tracking, streaks, and Friends & Family challenges, we collect:

Habits you create and manage
Daily logs, completions, and streaks
Habit and challenge customizations (names, icons, schedules)
Progress and activity you choose to share within Friends & Family challenges
Challenge-related events (such as joining, completing, or leaving challenges)

c. Usage Data

We may collect information about how you interact with the App, including:

Screens you visit and features you use
Time spent in the App
Crash logs, performance data, and diagnostic information

d. Device Data

We may collect certain device-related information, such as:

Device type and model
Operating system and version
App version
Unique device identifiers

e. Health & Wellness Data

With your permission, we may access health and fitness data from Apple HealthKit and Google Health Connect, including:

Step count
Sleep duration and stages
Mindfulness minutes
Workouts and active energy burned
Nutrition data (calories, protein, carbs, fat)
Water intake
Weight

This data is used to display wellness insights, track your progress, and power health-related challenges. When you participate in Friends & Family challenges, your health progress (such as steps or sleep hours) may be shared with other participants in that specific challenge.

Health data is stored securely on Firebase and is never sold or shared with third parties for advertising purposes. You can revoke health access at any time via your device's Settings app.

f. Analytics

We use third-party analytics tools, such as Firebase Analytics, to help us understand how users interact with the App and to improve performance, user experience, and stability.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for purposes including:

Creating, managing, and authenticating your account
Syncing your habits, logs, and challenges across devices
Enabling Friends & Family features and shared challenges
Personalizing your experience within the App
Improving and developing new features and functionality
Sending notifications and reminders related to habits and challenges
Maintaining the security of the App and preventing misuse or fraud

We do not sell your personal data.

3. Sharing Your Information

a. With Your Consent

We may share your information when you explicitly direct us to do so, for example when:

You join or create a Friends & Family challenge
You choose to share your progress within a group or challenge

Only members of that specific group or challenge can view the shared activity and related information.

b. Service Providers

We use trusted third-party service providers to help us operate and improve the App, such as:

Firebase Authentication (for secure login and account management)
Firestore Database (for secure cloud data storage and sync)
Firebase Analytics and related tools (for usage analytics)

These providers have access only to the data necessary to perform their services and are required to handle it securely and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

c. Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to:

Comply with a legal obligation or governmental request
Protect and defend our rights or property
Prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the App

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Firestore and related services). We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

Encryption of data in transit using HTTPS/TLS
Encryption of data at rest on Firebase servers
Access control and authentication mechanisms
Role-based access and security rules for Friends & Family challenge data

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from within the App.
When you delete your account, your personal information and synced data are removed from our active systems within a reasonable period, subject to any legal obligations.
In shared challenges, your profile and logs will no longer be visible to other members after deletion, though some aggregated or anonymized information may remain for analytics or reporting.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.

7. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location and applicable laws, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
Request deletion of your account and associated data
Limit or object to certain processing activities

You may also opt out of certain analytics or tracking via your device or operating system settings where supported.
